Spark trap for suction processes

Compared to conventional injection or water bath pre-separator systems, the spark trap has a major safety advantage. Wherever sparks are to be expected during friction, grinding or removal processes, the spark trap prevents damage to the filter elements and heating or even ignition of combustible materials.

Description

Depending on the requirement profile, the Krahnen spark trap can be connected in series and extended as required.
Due to the flexible positioning in vertical or horizontal position, almost every customer request can be solved.
Also an arrangement directly at the extraction point (e.g. machine, tool, extraction arm or tripod)
eliminates possible dangers even before transport in the suction hose. The "baffle extinguishing function" is implemented using a labyrinth system in which the spark is forced to lose most of its energy through deflection and impact cycles in the transport path.
In combination with an injection system or a reaction bath separator, maximum safety can be achieved
even with problematic media such as aluminum or magnesium dust. The easy-to-use cleanout door allows for quick and easy removal of deposits inside the spark trap. This guarantees a high level of operational reliability even under the heaviest loads.
