Description
This device, which does not have an ignition source, is intended for wet use. It is suitable for absorbing corrosive liquids in potentially explosive areas of Ex zones 1/2 and 21/22, which are flammable or non-flammable. The device is completely electrically conductive (antistatic), whereby the dissipation of electrostatics takes place via electrically conductive wheels to the conductive floor covering.
The operator must be familiar with the type and properties of the suction medium (substance), as well as the possible risks with regard to increased electrostatics due to the substance transport. When vacuuming problematic substances, the device must also be integrated into the operational equipotential bonding using the associated grounding clamp.
This device is supplied with an activated carbon filter for the adsorption of gases and vapors. Depending on the suction material and the application, the user can choose from various activated carbon filter cartridges:

Standard (mainly used for solvents and fuels, polar and non-polar substances)

Acid impregnated (mainly used for alkalis)

Basic impregnation (mainly used for highly concentrated acids) Special types for special applications available on request!
The operator is responsible for making the appropriate selection. You will receive a recommendation from KRAHNEN GmbH with the corresponding activated carbon type and a capacity index contained therein for the respective requirement profile.
