Description
This device, which has no ignition source, is intended for dry use. It is suitable for picking up flammable and non-flammable dusts in potentially explosive areas of Ex Zone 22. The device is completely electrically conductive (antistatic), with electrostatics being discharged via electrically conductive wheels to the conductive floor covering.
The operator must be familiar with the type and properties of the suction medium (substance), as well as the possible risks with regard to increased electrostatics due to the substance transport. When vacuuming problematic substances, the device must also be integrated into the operational equipotential bonding using the associated grounding clamp.
The most effective pneumatic filter cleaning is the MFA alternating filter cleaning system.
This development from Krahnen cleans the filter element without additional auxiliary energy, but uses the suction volume of the suction cup and the differential pressure to effectively clean the filter. At least two filter elements per suction cup are required for this. If the filter surface load increases and the vacuum cleaner no longer achieves the desired suction power at the suction point, the user can quickly blow the filter free again with the MFA filter cleaning system. In contrast to other manufacturers, where the filter cleaning takes place via pressure surge, filter shaker or vibration, the important filter fabric of the Krahnen vacuum cleaner is not compressed, squeezed or subjected to other mechanical loads.
